This is definitely the happiest we’ve seen Julius so far. I hope this will be clear by now, but so far, the capture dust has worked to get a bunch of 2D pictures. Julius’ proposal is that they use the dust to make a bunch of 3D models (ironic that it’s happening when the comic is going through a similar transformation). The process, he suggests, is similar enough to Astronomy that they can steal existing code meant for that.
Would that work? I have no idea. It seems plausible.
I’ve got the face rigged up, so I can make Julius smile and frown, as well as open his mouth without drawing over it.
